John I really enjoyed this article - thanks for writing it. Like you, I have tried most of the notetaking apps out there. I tried Twos several times - it is brilliant - I really GET it. The only thing that stopped me from committing was the lack of native Readwise integration (central to my PKM). Currently exploring RemNote and really enjoying it - it fits with my learning-obsessed needs! You've made me think about revisiting PARA although I like to separate work, business, and personal, but I guess I could have a PARA structure under each of those?
